Amiram Gonen

Welcome

I am a social-cultural geographer. My main career was at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where I taught courses in urban geography as well as social-cultural geography of Israel. My main research interest is mainly in residential processes and patterns on the local and national level.
Recently I have developed an interest in the geography of burial place and I am now preparing a book on "Identity and the Choice of Burial Place".
In this web site you'll find information about my background, research, and writing.
